PU Battle Main Tournament (TGP 100%)

Participants: 120
Tournament format: Swiss Mode for the first two rounds, Papa Style (4 players on 4 machines) for the final (TGP: 100%).

  • Round 1:
    7 matches of Swiss Mode, finally the best 32 best ranked players will be forwarded to the second round, in case of point equality the SOS score decides. If the difference of the SOS score is less than 10 percent, the score will be counted as equal. In this case a playoff on one machine will follow.
  • Round 2:
    10 matches of Swiss Mode, finally the best 4 best ranked players will be forwarded to the final, in case of point equality the SOS score decides. If the difference of the SOS score is less than 10 percent, the score will be counted as equal. In this case a playoff on one machine will follow.
  • Round 3:
    Final round of the 4 best players on 4 machines (points 4 – 2 – 1 – 0). The pinball machines will be chosen by the tournament director. Before the match starts, every player has the chance to practice the pinball machine for 30 seconds. The player with the most points in the end will be the winner. In case of a tie, a playoff on one machine will follow.

PU Battle 2nd Run Tournament (TGP 100%)

Participants: 88
Tournament format: Swiss Mode for the first round, best of 3 for the second and third round, Papa Style (4 players on 4 machines) for the finals (TGP: 100%).

  • Round 1:
    15 matches of Swiss Mode, finally the 12 best ranked players will be forwarded to the second round (best 4 players will receive a “bye”), in case of point equality the SOS score decides. If the difference of the SOS score is less than 10 percent, the score will be counted as equal. In this case a playoff on one machine will follow. The playoff will be played for the first 12 places. From place 13 on equal places are possible.
  • Round 2:
    Best of 3 (5 vs 12, 6 vs 11 and so on). The higher ranked player from round 1 decides the position in the first match. In 2nd and 3rd match the loser decides the position. The player who wins 2 matches first, reaches the semi final. There will be a 4 player game to determine rank 9 to 12.
  • Round 3:
    Best of 3 (winner match 1 of round 2 vs best ranked player from round 1 and so on). The higher ranked player from round 1 decides the position in the first match. In 2nd and 3rd match the loser decides the position. The player who wins 2 matches first, reaches the final. There will be a 4 player game to determine rank 5 to 8.
  • Round 4:
    Final round of the 4 best players on 4 machines (points 4 – 2 – 1 – 0). The pinball machines will be chosen by the tournament director. Before the match starts, every player has the chance to practice the pinball machine for 30 seconds. The player with the most points after the final matches will be the winner. In case of a tie, a playoff on one machine will follow.

Side Tournament without WPPR Points

“The winner takes it all” or “what will you do if you have only one ball?”

You can choose between 3 machines and you play only one ball. The player who reaches the Grand Champion – till the end of a single day – will receive a nice prize. Every player will receive 3 token each day. You can play 3 games on one machine or your games on 2 or 3 machines, as you like.
